Charges for translations are calculated according to the following:

  • Number of words in the source document
  • Format of the original document
  • Complexity
  • Deadline

Please email the document you wish to be translated for a free, no obligation quotation within 24 hours.

INTERPRETING

Interpreting is invoiced on a daily or half-daily basis. Our rates vary depending on the type of interpretation required, the duration of the assignment and the complexity of the subject matter. We can advise you on the appropriate number of interpreters required, which will vary depending on the type of interpreting service:

Simultaneous interpreting | Interpretation performed at the same time as the original speech and mainly used for conferences and formal speeches. This service requires a full set of interpreting equipment (light or heavy) for quality listening and a smooth outcome.

Chuchotage | A technique involving whispering simultaneously to one to three people. The interpreter operates with small groups of people without any technical equipment.

Consecutive interpreting | The interpreter speaks at intervals and reproduces the tone of the speech. No additional equipment is required. This type of interpretation is suitable for events such as press conferences and inaugurations.

Liaison interpreting | This method is used for occasions such as business meetings and informal meals. The interpreter sits next to the participants and translates the exchanges instantly.

If you require translation or interpreting services into other languages, our network of linguists is at your disposal.

We offer special rates for NGOs and charities and also pro-bono work. Please contact us for further details.
